Shower and Toilet
We offer our guests a nice service building that we have renovated and furnished to make it practical, family-friendly, and homely. There is a main entrance with a central hallway, from which men and women each have their own entrance to the shower rooms and sinks, and on the other side of the wall are the toilets. We ask our guests to remove their outdoor shoes in the hallway, so please feel free to bring your own flip-flops/slippers to change into.
The shower rooms are spacious enough to shower with your child. However, we also have 2 separate entrances with family showers: one for fathers with their children and one for mothers with their children. In these family shower rooms, there is also a baby bathtub, a sink with a stool, and a proper changing table for the little ones. It's convenient to have everything within reach in the same room! This space is also useful if you are a bit less mobile and prefer to shower while sitting on a chair.
5kr Coin
In the shower, you can get warm water with a 5kr coin. This gives you a delightful 5-minute hot shower. Cold water is available at any time.
The use of 5-kr coins for 5 minutes of hot water has a reason. This way, we keep the campsite's energy consumption sustainable, and every guest has the opportunity for a hot shower. The hot shower water is separate from the kitchen and dishwashing area, ensuring that our guests never have to shower in cold water.
Please note: you can bring and keep these 5kr coins yourself, but they can always be exchanged at the reception.
Kitchen, Refrigerator, and Dishwashing
We offer a cozy, homely kitchen in the service building. This kitchen is primarily intended for camping guests with smaller tents who do not have their own cooking facilities.
The room is heated in spring and autumn. There are two large tables with plenty of space to sit and have breakfast. The kitchen cabinets are filled with plates, cups, cutlery, and pots. There is also a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc. You are welcome to wash up immediately after use, but please remember to bring your own kitchen towel and return everything clean and dry to the cabinets! This ensures a pleasant welcome for the next guest who comes in!
Due to hygiene and clarity, we do not provide a refrigerator for general use, but our guests can rent their own refrigerator for a small additional fee. You will receive your own key, giving you access to your own refrigerator. When checking out, we ask you to remove all your belongings and leave the refrigerator clean for the next guest. The table-sized refrigerators are located in a central spot near the service building and are accessible 24/7. It is also possible to have a table-sized refrigerator delivered to your spot during your stay. This is convenient for larger family tents :)
The dishwashing area is located behind the service building and offers both hot and cold water that is freely accessible. There are currently 8 sinks with 4 dish racks. Feel free to bring your own dish basin. To avoid unnecessary water and energy consumption, we ask our guests not to let the tap run while washing dishes. This way, we keep it sustainable for both the environment and your fellow guests, ensuring that everyone has access to hot water. Therefore, we have also chosen to add an industrial dishwasher. It uses precisely dosed water and allows you to wash up in just 3 minutes! Note: use the dishwasher for your regular plates and crockery, and not to clean your barbecue!
Washing Clothes
Have you been active outdoors or did your child have an accident? Behind the service building, there is a practical laundry room with two rooms, each equipped with a washing machine and a dryer. You can rent a room and pick up the key at the reception. You can then use the machines to wash or dry, depending on your needs. Outside the laundry room, there are also two drying racks available. After washing, you should return the key to the reception so that the next guest can also use the laundry room.
If you have a small load that you prefer to wash by hand, there is also a handwashing area behind the service building. This area is freely accessible, and no key is needed!
