Reception & Kiosk
At the entrance of Camping Tiveden, we warmly welcome you to the reception, the heart of the campsite. We are always happy to meet you! Our aim is to manage our campsite as personally as possible. We check you in and are ready to answer all your questions and fulfill your wishes. We’re also happy to inform you about the various activities and excursions in the Tiveden area.
We will help you download our own camping info app, purchase fishing licenses and take your order for freshly baked rolls and coffee cakes for breakfast. There is always freshly brewed coffee (also 'to go'), 'fikabröd' and ice cream for sale.
In the kiosk, you will find essential groceries and items that are 'easy to forget', as well as soft drinks, sweets, and cookies—plenty of treats! We also offer fun souvenirs, some toys, postcards, and local decorations.
If you would like to relax on the outdoor terrace in the sun with a glass of wine, cider, or beer, and enjoy each other's company, that is also possible. We are licensed to serve alcohol and snacks. :)
Once a week, you can order the locally smoked trout, served with the campsite’s delicious homemade sauce (secret recipe! ;))
On certain days, we make fries that you can order—a tasty addition to your evening barbecue or salad. Or simply for the children ;) Tip: if you'd like a cozy dinner, sign up for our unique concept ‘Tipimys,’ our intimate restaurant in the large tipi tent! Read more under 'Tipimys'.
The reception, kiosk, and Tipimys tent are accessible for people with disabilities.
In the building, there is also an adapted shower and toilet for those who need it, accessible 24 hours a day from the outside (no key required).
During high season, the reception/kiosk is open from 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. During low season, we have shorter opening hours. However, since we live on the campsite grounds ourselves, we are always nearby to provide the best service. :)
3 km to the south, in the village of Sannerud, you’ll find Tiveds Lanthandel, a meeting place for everyone, known for its typical smoked Tived ham, smoked pork tenderloin, and local groceries.
