Camp with us with your own caravan, motorhome or tent

Our campsite is spacious and well-organized, nestled in a forest and located directly by the beautiful, clear Lake Unden. The area is owned, maintained, and operated by us, the owners.

We have three fields, offering a total of 75 spots for travelers arriving with their caravans, motorhomes, or tents. All spots are numbered and range from at least 100 m² to 150 m².

68 of these spots have access to an electrical pole with a 10-amp connection, with electricity included in the price. Additionally, it is possible to camp without electricity in a smaller tent on the tent field or in the "open field."

There is a pleasant variety within the different fields; some camping spots are situated along the edge of the forest and in sunny areas. We offer spots facing north, south, east, and west. Some camping spots are located right next to the central playground, while others are a bit farther away. You might also prefer to be closer to the service building. Tall birches are scattered throughout the fields.

Quite popular are the 9 gravel spots along the shore of Lake Unden, slightly hidden among the tall pines, spruces, and birches. These spots have electricity and are most suitable for motorhomes, caravans, rooftop tents, trailers, and camping buses due to the gravel surface. Fortunately, there are also two smaller grass spots for tents, with electricity connection. At all these spots, you can enjoy the beautiful sunset rays through the trees every evening.

Outside the high season, you can choose where you would like to set up your caravan, car, or tent (after consultation). During the peak season, the planning puzzle is usually completed, but inquiries and consultations are always possible. We prefer that you discuss this during booking, but we always try to be as flexible and service-oriented as possible.

Drinking water can be collected and filled at various locations. Your waste water and chemical toilet can be emptied at one of the service points near the service building. We offer wireless internet (WIFI) throughout the entire camping area.​

Children​

Perfect and very important for our family-friendly campsite is the centrally located playground. Here, the little ones can play and engage in activities while their parents relax and watch. We have children's bikes, swings, climbing and slide, sandbox etc.

In the reception area, various toys and games are available for lending. There are also ping-pong tables and a petanque court. Teens can climb a challenging climbing tower or play at the sports field, which also features soccer goals and a volleyball net. Directly adjacent to the campsite, there are opportunities for many (self-led) activities on the water and in the forest. In the lake—off the dock and pier—a water trampoline is available during high season, and in the forest right by the campsite, there are various hiking trails, a small play forest, and a troll trail for the children. : )

Pets​

Dogs—of course, on a leash—are very welcome. A maximum of 2 dogs per site is allowed during the high season to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for everyone! During the low season, it is acceptable to have more dogs per site.

Season​

At Camping Tiveden, we are open every season from approximately April 15 to mid-October. In the pre- and post-season, there is usually the possibility to drop by spontaneously, so without a reservation, and then you can choose a suitable spot. However, if you want to ensure a spot during high season, it is highly recommended that you book in advance. You can do this directly through Online Booking or by clicking the "Book" button at the top of each page.

When you book a camping spot, we ask for a deposit, which then serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance can be paid in advance or on-site at the reception. We accept all kind of bank cards except American Express and  cash.
