Around the campsite there are 4 walking trails, with a range from approx. 30 minutes up to one and a half hour.

The National Park Tiveden has very interesting and exciting, more and less intensive, trails with different distances. All well signed, but a map and GPS are never superfluous. We can inform you in the reception of our campsite. All routes are also available at the Visitor Center; centrally located in the National Park, and at the 2 other entrances at Vitsand and Ösjönäs. Here at these 3 entrances you can park your car, mobilhome or bike.

Suitable (mountain) shoes and a healthy condition are recommended for the longer routes, because the terrain is mountainous and bumpy and sometimes a bit wet.

For an indication: the Tärnekullen trail takes only 1 hour and the Trehörning trail takes about 6 hours. And there are more to discover, such as the Oxögaberg trail. In total, the Park has 35 km of marked hiking tours.

There are many more beautiful Nature Reserves here that offer marked hiking trails, like: Högsåsen, Fagertärn, Utnäset en Vargavidderna.

The Bergslagleden offers a long-distance trail through the centre of Sweden. In this area Tiveden you can hike 3 days; 3 stages which makes also a multi-day trip possible. We can help you with transportation.
